I am looking at the printed copy of the book.
Though I say it myself it probably is the most comprehensive guide there is. The HSE’s approved code of practise was pretty comprehensive but was not written in lay-person’s language. That document is being withdrawn and I have to say the HSE’s “gas” website is really good.
So what extra dimension has the book “The Landlord’s Guide to Gas Safety” by DJ Percy got to offer?
1. it links the law to current best practice and standards.
2. other “Landlord’s Guide to…” books give it from a landlord’s or even a tenants point of view. This book shows you the picture from the point of view of the gas engineer.
Have you ever wondered what gas engineers say about landlords and why you rarely see the same one visiting a landlord’s property twice?
You can order the book through any bookshop but the cheapest way to buy it is through this website. Click on the books tab at the top of the page or here:
